I ordered this tailgate from Amazon.com and it arrived in less than a week. It looked great coming out of the box. It took about 20 minutes to install the new tailgate (there are a few minor modifications needed but very easy to accomplish). The final product fit like a glove and looks great.
The only concern I had was that when I was looking at the product I checked the "Make Sure It Fits" box and found there were tailgates available for my Ford truck. As I was ordering the tailgate there was no confirmation from Amazon.com that I was actually ordering the correct tailgate for my 2000 Ford Super Duty truck. Not even anything that I was ordering a Ford tailgate. I wasn't sure if I was getting the correct tailgate until it arrived (there was a sticker on the outside of the box indicating that it would fit my truck).
Other than that it, the tailgate is a good buy.

The tailgate that was delivered had a new "ECO" finish applied, not polished aluminum as I expected. Basically, it is painted shiny gray. Still a very nice unit, just maybe not what you expect finish-wise.
